The Republic of Korea Ministry of Knowledge Economy

The Ministry of Knowledge Economy is the result of a 60 year transformation in the Korean economy. Its predecessors include the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Energy and Resources, which were merged into the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy (MOTIE) in 1993. During the government reforms of 1998, responsibility for international trade issues was moved to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and the Ministry was reorganized once again, this time as the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Energy (MOCIE).

Inspiration for TopSpeakingDocs Dies

Michael Madison Griffiths, 20, the son of Ellen and Michael Griffiths passed away on Friday June 25, 2010 at his home from complications related to a long standing liver ailment.

 

 

Michael (Mikey, Mike) was a junior at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia majoring in Economics. This summer he was taking courses for his pre-med requirements at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County. He was a graduate of St. Ann’s Academy in the Tenleytown area of D.C. and St. John’s College High School also in the District.
